Request:

Please provide the named person that currently operates at the most senior level of sergeant at the DP force and the most senior superintendent, that has charge of all the tasks and duties of the regular police constables?

i.e every police officer has a sergeant, so please provide the name of the most lead sergeant who is responsible for the duties and oversight of the police constables, that they are accountable to.

Please note I am not asking for leadership information. There are many sergeants in any given police force, so my question, basically, in basic terms, is who is the most senior accordingly?

Response:

I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police due to the fact that there is no rank of senior sergeant.

Please note: All sergeants have the same level of responsibility as per the rank structure below:

Police Constable reports to Sergeant.

Sergeant reports to Inspector.

Inspector reports to Chief Inspector.

Chief Inspector reports to Superintendent.

Superintendent reports to Chief Superintendent.

Assistant Chief Constable.

Deputy Chief Constable.

Chief Constable.
