Response 2a:
"Dyfed-Powys Police continually evaluates its operational effectiveness in relation to crime patterns observed in the Force area. Closures are carefully considered in consultation with local community leaders and members of the public. In some instances, closures are due to unfavourable Condition Reports resulting in high maintenance costs and running costs. We have often favoured co-locating with other blue light services to provide a more sustainable solution for both organisations and in some instances where co-locating is not feasible, we have relocated to more functionally suitable and affordable premises in the local area."
It should be noted that as a result of the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such information that the information released may or may not be accurate.
