FOI Reference: 930/2025
Request:
I am writing to request information under the FOIA which relates to predictive analytics, data intelligence or AI-enabled profiling that have been in trial, development, or deployment at any point in 2025.
Response 1 & 2:
AI-enabled profiling:
I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police as AI-enabled profiling is not used.
Predictive analytics:
I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed Powys police as we do not use Predictive analysis as a dedicated standalone project/portfolio, however we do use it in a limited manner at surface level for generic analysis to support operational planning.
Data intelligence:
I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed Powys police as we do not use data intelligence as a dedicated standalone project/portfolio, however our use of data intelligence refers to the standard practice of analysing data to identify trends and patterns to inform resource allocation and policing strategy.
(This is a response under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and disclosed on 28/10/2025)
