Request:
I am asking for a freedom of information request regarding the following incident that occurred in December 2024.
INCIDENT -- Scaffolding Became Live From Electricity
DATE OF INCIDENT -- December 2024
LOCATION -- Haverfordwest Town, Pembrokeshire
I think the incident occurred on December 1st 2024, where scaffolding attached to a building became live from the Festive (Christmas) festoon installed within the town.
Will you confirm the date & time, Dyfed-Powys Police were called, and any notes held, regarding the incident.
The Fire Brigade and local authority were also on the scene responding to the incident.

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.
A call from a Pembs County Council was received at 12:55 pm on the 01/12/2024 requesting police assistance to help close the footpath on the High St, Haverfordwest as Christmas lights were put up on scaffolding, which became live:
Prior to police response, there was already one member of staff at scene to warn people (not stated if it was police or council staff).
The police response time – report to arrival - for the incident was 13 minutes (graded as a priority incident).
The incident log states that Fire were at scene around 13:39 pm (time updated on call log, may not be actual time of arrival).
Later, the log states that two sets of electricians arrived at the scene around 14:04 pm (time updated on call log, may not be actual time of arrival).
It should be noted that as a result of the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such information that the information released may or may not be accurate.
