How many hours of officer safety refresher training did you provide police officers in your force for per year for the following years, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Response:
I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.
Officers are trained in officer safety training every two years. The minimum training contact time is 12 hours every two years.
2020 = 15,600 hours
2021 = 15,600 hours
2022 = 15,600 hours
2023 = 15,600 hours
2024 = 15,600 hours
2025 = 15,600 hours
Total = 93,600 hours
Please note: Dyfed-Powys Police is participating in a two year trial with the College of Policing.
