Request:
1) When an officer seeking promotion submits their form to the Dyfed-Powys Police HR Department, what exactly happens to that form in terms of anonymising the application ahead of a sifting panel of Senior Officers?
2) What specific information are Senior Officers on the sifting panel actually told? For example are they told which Division or Department the Applicant is applying from? Or the current rank of the applicant such as an Acting Inspector or Sergeant and are they told whether the applicant is a male or a female officer?

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.
Application is logged on tracker. All personal details removed from application and form only consists of applicant’s attainment responses.

Sifting panel is provided with anonymised applications which only include attainments. No details given to panel on BCU, department, rank or gender.
