FOI Reference: 589/2026
Request 1 - 3:
Please provide the following information regarding police operations into multi-perpetrator or group-based child sexual exploitation (CSE), child sexual abuse, or organized grooming networks within the Pembrokeshire local authority area.
To avoid this request exceeding the statutory cost limits under Section 12, I am restricting the scope of this enquiry to the years 2000 to 2025 inclusive.
Response 1:
I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police due to the fact that there are/were zero operations launched by Dyfed-Powys Police that investigated group-based or multi-perpetrator child sexual exploitation/grooming in Pembrokeshire during the timeframe specified.
Response 2 & 3:
A response to question 2 & 3 is not applicable, based on the response to question 1.
It should also be noted that Police forces in the United Kingdom are routinely required to provide crime statistics to government bodies and the recording criteria is set nationally. However, the systems used for recording these figures are not generic, nor are the procedures used locally in capturing the crime data. It should be noted that for these reasons this force's response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other response you may receive.
(This is a response under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and disclosed on 29/06/2026)
