Request:

I'm getting in touch about historic monthly data as released on data.police.uk for the months Jan-April 2024. The monthly total of crimes is usually for Dyfed Powys in a range of 3-4000, but for those months in 2024 it is;

Jan: 826

Feb: 276

March: 164

April: 283

which I think you'll agree is implausibly low. I would suggest there is some missing data. Can you please check and let me know what it should be

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, the details of which are as follows:

Jan-24 – 2,766 crimes

Feb-24 – 2,763 crimes

March-24 – 3,042 crimes

April-24 – 3,334 crimes
