1. As of 1st May 2026, how many serving police dogs do you currently have?
2. As of 1st may 2026, how many police dog handlers do you currently have?
3. What is the yearly expenditure for all police dogs?
4. Do your police dog handlers undertake canine first aid training? If so, how often are they provided a refresher course?

In the last financial year, the costs for the police dogs were:

Vets fees – £5,322

Maintenance of dogs (e.g. food) -  £42,431

 Yes, canine first aid is provided to all handlers with annual refresher courses.
