RTCs on Forden to Caerhowel road 495/2026

Request:

Number of vehicular accidents on the unnamed road from the Railway Inn Forden SY21 8NN to the Lion Hotel Caerhowel SY15 6HF from January 2024 to May 2026

Response:

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, the details of which are as follows:

• During the period from 01/01/2024 - 28/05/2026 there have been 3 RTCs. As the road is unclassified, we can only search by village/town name. 

Please note: The Freedom of Information department have been advised that as the area is quite rural, and the road unclassified, there may well be other RTCs that would be geobased to a nearby property if the RTC was in an isolated area on the unclassified road, but each house address would need to be checked (which would exceed the 18 hour time limit threshold).
