My request relates to the following offences:
Possession of weapons (offence codes 00826; 00853; 00861; 08103; 08117)
Handling stolen goods (offence codes 05401; 05402)
Possession of a controlled drug Class A (offence codes 09250; 09251; 09252; 09252; 09254; 09259)
For each of the three offence groups, please provide the following information:
1. How many women were arrested for the specific offences in the time period 30 June 2024 up to 30 June 2026?
2. How many of the arrested women were flagged with a domestic violence marker associated with their current or former partner, where their current or former partner was the perpetrator of domestic violence?
By this I mean the suspect arrested for the offence (e.g. handling stolen goods) had been flagged with a domestic violence marker where she is recognised as at risk of DVA, either previous to the arrest or following the arrest.

It should also be noted that Police Services in the United Kingdom are routinely required to provide crime statistics to government bodies and the recording criteria is set nationally. However, the systems used for recording these figures are not generic, nor are the procedures used locally in capturing the crime data. It should be noted that for these reasons this force's response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other response you may receive.
