Please note: The below table relates only the fraud crimes closed between the period of 01/01/21 and 31/12/21 and therefore by definition does not include the number of crimes in which the investigation is currently ongoing. In addition, the number of crimes closed in the below table does not reflect the number of crimes outlined in response 1; this can be explained by the fact that there may be instances in which a fraud crime occurred in 2020 but closed 2021.
