Response 3:
I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.
The DA Policy was last reviewed and amended on 10/11/2021 in order to reflect the new definition of domestic abuse as per the new DA Act 2021.
It was given a short review date of 10/01/2022 because that’s when we were expecting guidance from the College of Policing regarding the new definition of domestic abuse, which was implemented by the Home Office in Jan 2022.
The College of Policing APP has not been updated yet, so the DA Policy will stay as it is until we have that guidance from them.
Response 4:
I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police due to the fact that zero (0) misconduct cases or grievances were recorded by Dyfed-Powys Police female officers in the timeframe specified.
It should be noted that as a result of the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such information that the information released may or may not be accurate.
Furthermore, it should also be noted that Police forces in the United Kingdom are routinely required to provide crime statistics to government bodies and the recording criteria is set nationally. However, the systems used for recording these figures are not generic, nor are the procedures used locally in capturing the crime data. It should be noted that for these reasons this force's response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other response you may receive.
