1. How many asylum-seeking children were reported as missing for over 72 hours to your police force in each calendar year 2021, 2020, 2019? Please provide information on the total length of time they were missing for before being found.
2. How many remain missing/unaccounted for?
3. In each calendar year 2021, 2020, 2019, how many unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC) have been reported missing from temporary accommodation such as a hotel or B&B OR were last seen at a hotel or B&B?
4. In each calendar year 2021, 2020, 2019, how many unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC) have been reported missing from local authority care (such as a children’s home or foster care)?
Response 1:
I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police due to the fact that zero (0) asylum-seeking children were reported as missing for over 72 hours in the timeframe specified.
Response 2:
A response to questions 2 is not applicable which is based on the response provided in relation to question 1.
Response 3:
I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police due to the fact that zero (0) unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC) have been reported missing from temporary accommodation in the timeframe specified.
