Stuart began his policing career in with South Wales Police in 2002, based in the Vale of Glamorgan.
In 2007 he moved to Pembrokeshire and began his career with Dyfed-Powys, initially serving as a PC in Milford Haven before undertaking Police Sergeant duties in Pembroke Dock and Haverfordwest.
Stuart moved to Carmarthenshire in 2009 as a response Sergeant in Llanelli, going on to serve in the county in other sergeant roles, as Inspector for the Ammanford and Carmarthen sections, and later as the Operations Chief Inspector for the county. He has also enjoyed several roles in Powys and at Police Headquarters where he is currently based as the Head of Specialist Operations.
Stuart is married with three children. He enjoys running, mountain biking and is a leader at his local church.
