Tackling and preventing Anti-Social Behaviour within our communities.
Issued 22 September 2026
Anti-Social Behaviour has been identified as a local issue within some communities. Since this concern has been raised, we have conducted high visibility patrols throughout the summer and will continue to do this to deterrent such negative behaviour.
We have conducted ‘Meet the street’ patrols within areas of the community this year, helping us identify issues that are apparent within South Ceredigion. We plan to conduct further ‘Meet the Street’ patrols within the communities, further listening and understanding priority actions.
We will continue to work with our partner agencies to deter Anti- Social Behaviour, making efforts to lower any negative impact for individuals witnessing such behaviour.

To tackle road safety issues within our communities.
Issued 22 September 2026
Road safety issues have been identified as a local concern. We have been working with our Road Policing Unit to target the offence of speeding, Anti-Social driving and other driving offences in your local areas to help make the roads within South Ceredigion a safer place.
Over the summer we have worked with our Road Traffic Unit to conduct speeding operations, resulting in a number of tickets being issued to persons speeding within the community. Drivers in addition have been provided with educational advice regarding the potential consequences of their actions when speeding and awareness regarding road safety has been highlighted.
We will continue to conduct operations within the community regarding road safety and promote safer roads within South Ceredigion. Further partner working with our local authorities will also take place within the coming months.
