  • Our priorities
  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Road Safety - identify and target those causing a danger or ASB on our roads.

    Issued 20 July 2026

    Action taken:

Road safety continues to be a concern within our communities and whilst your NPPT teams are limited in direct actions that can be taken we are able to organise and undertake specific operations and actions alongside the Roads Policing Team to target these areas of concern.

Recently operations have been conducted utilising the RPU team and drones to target ASB on the roads in our communities and the illegal use of e-scooters.

These issues remain a priority over the coming months and further operations of this nature will continue to be conducted in partnership with our Llanelli Town colleagues to identify and take action against any person involved in the behaviour.

    Actioned 20 October 2026

  • Priority:

    ASB

    Issued 20 July 2026

    Action taken:

Anti-social behaviour remains a priority concern for us especially now that we are into the summer months.

Our local community grows significantly over this period with visitors and holidaymakers coming into our communities for the summer holidays.
We will continue to conduct preventative measures by monitoring and targeting the hot spot areas for any ASB in our communities and aim to carry out joint patrols with partner agencies throughout the summer months.

This will be structured around a strategic approach, supported through data analysis, with a view to intervene early and reduce overall ASB within our area.

NPPT officers will take positive action with any individual concerned or involved with ASB.

    Actioned 20 October 2026

  • Priority:

The illegal use of e-scooters on and off roads in public areas

    Issued 20 July 2026

    Action taken:

Our residents have highlighted the growing concerns around e-scooters being used on roads and footpaths in the Llanelli Rural area.

Survey results over the last 3 months show this is a growing concern with the issue being highlighted especially along the coastal path between Llanelli and Burry Port.

Officers will look to conduct joint operations with our town colleagues over the next 3 months to target the areas and individuals concerned and take positive action against the illegal use of any e-scooter.

Information will be processed and any outcomes publicised accordingly.

    Actioned 20 October 2026
