Anti-social behaviour in Burry Port and the surrounding areas in the build up to the Festive season. Community leaders have highlighted in joint meetings with Police that they have concerns in the lead up to Christmas around general youth ASB in the area and over the coming months we will look to target these through conducting patrols and visiting the hot spot areas for any ASB in our communities
Issued 07 October 2026
Anti-social behaviour remains a priority concern for us in several areas with the Llanelli rural community
Community leaders have highlighted areas of concern in the lead up to Christmas and over the coming months we will look to target these through conducting preventative measures by monitoring and targeting the hot spot areas for any ASB in our communities and aim to carry out joint patrols with partner agencies to identify and take action where necessary for those involved in offences.
This will be structured around a strategic approach, supported through data analysis, with a view to intervene early and reduce overall ASB within our area.
NPPT officers will take positive action with any individual concerned or involved with ASB

Road safety concerns and issues around Kidwelly/Burry Port with the illegal and anti social use of ebikes/scooters by youths
Issued 07 October 2026
Road safety continues to be a concern within our communities and whilst your NPPT teams are limited in direct actions that can be taken, however plans are in place to organise and undertake operations and actions alongside the Roads Policing Team to target these areas of concern.
These will take place in the coming weeks and months to target and take action against those using e-bikes and scooters illegally in your area.
The Llanelli Rural NPPT team will continue to identify and target the areas of concern utilising the RPU team and drones to target ASB on the roads, and in particular the illegal and dangerous use of e-scooters.
These issues remain a priority over the coming months and further operations of this nature will continue to be conducted in partnership with our Llanelli Town colleagues to identify and take action against any person involved in the behaviour
