Working on the front line is no easy task, but Dyfed-Powys Police's band of volunteers – the “specials” help ensure our communities are kept safe alongside full-time police officers and PCSO’s.
We speak to some of the Volunteer Police Cadets from Newtown about what it is like being in the cadets, what they enjoy and why they volunteer.
As a retired police officer of 30 years, Dr Martin Wright moved into academia following his retirement and now dedicates his time as a police support volunteer with Dyfed-Powys Police.
Anti Social Behaviour involving youths has been reported in Haverfordwest and Fishguard. Targeted patrols will take place to engage with young people and deal with any related issues.

Your local Neighbourhood Policing and Prevention team will conduct high visibility patrols at Key beat Locations both morning and afternoons. Officers will tackle ASB, promote education to reduce driving offences at local key areas.
