Working on the front line is no easy task, but Dyfed-Powys Police's band of volunteers – the “specials” help ensure our communities are kept safe alongside full-time police officers and PCSO’s.
We speak to some of the Volunteer Police Cadets from Newtown about what it is like being in the cadets, what they enjoy and why they volunteer.
As a retired police officer of 30 years, Dr Martin Wright moved into academia following his retirement and now dedicates his time as a police support volunteer with Dyfed-Powys Police.
Pembrokeshire NPPT will attend at Key Beat Locations to conduct high visibility patrols both morning and afternoon. These locations are identified through high volume incident and public footfall and therefore may change.
Officers will also tackle the ASB created by the illegal use of E-Scooters in a public place/ public road.
