Neighbourhood policing teams are made up of police officers and PCSOs, who are the familiar faces of Dyfed-Powys Police in your community. They are dedicated specialist teams who work with our communities and partners to maintain community safety and spirit, to problem solve in order to find sustainable solutions to the issues that have the greatest impact on people’s everyday lives.
Our Neighbourhood Policing & Prevention Teams are at the heart of how we protect the public, prevent crime, and meet the challenges of policing today.
Neighbourhood officers will be monitoring the area locally known as the Skate board park, Offa’s Dyke to prevent any ASB and criminal activity.
This priority will run from April- June 2026.

The Neighbourhood Policing and Prevention Team will be taking positive action against properties within Lugg View, Knighton, particularly in relation to drug related ASB and crime.
This priority will run from February-March 2026.

Neighbourhood officers have conducted a significant amount of collaborative partnership working and high visibility patrols to tackle this issue and have seen a positive impact for the community at this location.

Neighbourhood Policing officers will be raising awareness around road safety and speeding within the Knighton area this month.
This priority will run from January-March 2026.

Throughout January to March, speed reduction awareness sessions were conducted in the Knighton area, including Presteigne and Norton. Overall Neighbourhood officers reported that during these session, speed was within the limit however will continue to monitor this with Roads Policing.
