Report made to Police in relation to the removal of copper pipes and floorboards from a rural, unoccupied property in the Beguildy area. Crime created and offence of Burglary investigated.
On the 16th May report received from a farmer in the Beguildy area of the theft of over 1000m of electric cable from a poultry shed. Burglary recorded and investigated. Follow up visit conducted by the Rural Crime Team including a crime prevention survey.
Report received in April in relation to the theft of antique jewellery from a business premises in the Knighton area. Crime of Burglary recorded and investigation made.
On the 29th April, 2 quad bikes were taken from a rural property in the Knighton area- with an attempted theft at the same location on the 23rd April. Offence of Burglary recorded and investigation conducted in partnership with the Rural Crime Team.
Crime prevention trained officers from both the local Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Rural Crime Team are continuing to offer free crime prevention advice and surveys and follow up visits to victims of rural crime such as those listed in order to promote security and target hardening measures in rural areas and prevent repeat victims.
Ongoing partnership work is also continuing between Dyfed Powys Police and neighbouring forces to target and disrupt rural crime and offences connected to travelling criminals.
