Request:
In recent years, the standards of policing have seriously dropped, both in dress and policy adherence.
Many years ago, Police Inspectors at each station maintained good order and standards by regular inspection of officers at the commencement of each shift.
Under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please provide me with any recorded documentation which would explain why this necessary feature of police discipline and good order no longer takes place and to reveal what a Police Inspector actually inspects.
I have read the draft issued by the College of Policing, which does not answer my request.
Response:
I can confirm that there is no information held/recorded by Dyfed-Powys Police in respect of your above request.
It should be noted that owing to the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such matters the information provided may or may not be accurate. It should be noted that for these reasons this Force’s response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other response you may receive.
