1. How much revenue has been received by your organisation for services rendered to film and television productions? This could include location rental, permits and all other services related to film productions using your personnel or resources.
2. Please outline the type of work or service rendered, in each case and disclose the revenue received for each type of service.
3. How much has your organisation spent on facilitating such arrangements between 2014/15 to 2022/23, inclusive, broken down by year?                           

Further email received from applicant on 21^st June ’24, via ‘Go Safe’ in relation to this same request, specifically requesting that it relates to Filming – Wales Road Casualty Reduction Partnership.

 

I can confirm Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.

This information is not easily available, due to there being no way of breaking down the amount of spend relating to this, outside of salary costs.

We are informed by our Finance Department that there is no ‘cost code’ for this category, which would therefore result in the requirement to research a large number of invoices to establish whether there was any information held to answer this question.  It is estimated that this will take over 18 hours to undertake which would take the request over the fees under S12 of the Act.  Due to the delay in the completion of your request, can you advise please whether you wish to receive a formal refusal notice under S12 of the Act for this part of your request.

GoSafe do not generate any revenue from filming/production requests.  If staff participated in interviews (for no payment), essentially the Force is paying them while they are contributing to a TV/Film piece. However, this information is not easily available, due to there being no way of breaking down the amount of spend relating to this, outside of salary costs
