1. Please provide the number of digital devices currently awaiting examination by, or for, the force.
2. Please provide a breakdown of the above stating:
a. What number are due to be examined internally by the force.
b. What number are due to be examined by an external contractor.
3. Please provide the average number of days it is currently taking, for a digital device to be examined.
4. Please provide a breakdown of the above stating:
a. The average number of days it is currently taking, for a device to be examined internally by the force.
b. The average number of days it is currently taking, for a device to be examined by an external contractor.
Response 1:
I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.
The number of devices awaiting examination is currently 112.
Response 2:
I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.
- a) The number of devices due to examined internally is 112.
- b) Zero (0), due to the fact we are not outsourcing digital device examination.
Responses 3 & 4:
I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police as the average number of days is not recorded.
It should be noted that as a result of the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such information that the information released may or may not be accurate.
