Request:
I am trying to find out what sort of support you offer your officers and staff as they come up to retirement. What topics does this support cover, who is invited to attend and who provides each of these services?
I can confirm Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below:-
Response
Pensions team do offer meetings with officers and staff when they are approaching retirement, as well as regular ‘one to ones’ throughout the year, where any officers coming up to retirement or at any stage of their career regarding pensions can ask for assistance. Sometimes these are arranged by the Pensions team, or are communicated with the federation/ unison and Supt association so all parties are aware and book in meetings. Officers and staff in Dyfed Powys and other members in the pensions team are also on hand to assist when going around the stations.
