Request:-
I was hoping to request any information that can be provided including any statistics regarding child sexual offences in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire and the force. I am not sure what information is allowed to be provided but please can anything regarding child sexual offences in the force that can be provided. Also please can the information be provided in calendar years in possible and span the last 3 years. I am researching the risk and threat and frequency of child sexual offences to determine how much of an issue it is in the area and also any ways police can help and any measures that can reduce harm.

1 Are you referring to sexual offences by children or against children?
2. Are you referring to incidents or crimes? Please note an incident is different from a crime. An incident is a record of contact made to a police force by an individual/member of public (usually via a 999 or 101 call) and a crime is where the threshold has been met for the police force to deem that a criminal offence has occurred as defined by law.
3.Are you requesting separate figures for the Llanelli area, Carmarthenshire and Force area, please can you be more specific so that we can provide a response that is meaningful to you

I am referring to crimes of sexual offences that are committed against children. I was not sure how specific the statistics provided could be but I am requesting separate figures for Llanelli and the force if this is possible to do please.
