Request Q1:-
Under Freedom of Information I request information about the number of police officers in Dyfed Powys that are capable of conducting fraud investigations.
Could you please provide details of where these officers are based.
Request Q2:-
Under Freedom of Information I request information on any legal agreement or "memorandum of understanding" that Dyfed-Powys Police has with Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys councils.
I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, the details of which are as follows:
Response Q1
There are 2 Police Officers in force dedicated to fraud investigation, both of whom are based in police headquarters.
However, all warranted officers are capable of conducting fraud investigations.
Response Q2
No Sharing Agreements or Memorandum Of understandings with Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys Councils, for investigations of fraud or theft within these organisations.
It should be noted that owing to the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such matters the information provided may or may not be accurate.
