The term ‘restricted duties’ has been interpreted to mean all forms of restriction, whether they relate to health (limited duties), health & safety, welfare or misconduct (suspension and management restriction).
As at 20/05/2024, the number of police officers on:
Note: ‘adjusted duties’ are restrictions from the normal duties of a police officer lasting 6 months or more. ‘Recuperative duties’ are restrictions from the normal duties of a police officer lasting less than 6 months. The fact an officer is categorised as adjusted or recuperative doesn’t necessarily mean they can’t undertake the full duties of their role.
