Clarification:
To provide clarity, please provide information at the end of the promotion process, so those on the panel. Also, to avoid any potential cost or time exemptions, please could you:
- Not look for training hours
- Only retrieve information for questions 1 and 2.
Response 1:
I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.
At the Promotion Board panel there are 3 panel members acting as force assessors for Constable to Sergeant. The panels are not fixed people and change for each board. They can be formed of anybody between Sergeant and Superintendent rank and police staff equivalent. I cannot therefore provide information on the ethnicities without specific dates.
All assessors are trained in the competency framework. They have received 3 hours training in this.
