Request:

1.A: How many complaints regarding sexual misconduct has the force received from staff between 1 October 2022 to 1 October 2023?

1.B: Can these complaints be broken down by type of sexual misconduct i.e. sexual assault, rape, sexual coercion etc?

2.A: How many complaints regarding sexual misconduct has the force received from the public regarding police officers between 1 October 2022 to 1 October 2023?
2. B: Can these complaints be broken down by type of sexual misconduct i.e. sexual assault, rape, sexual coercion etc?

3.How many police officers have been dismissed from the force for sexual misconduct during this period? 

Response 1a &b:

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, the details of which are as follows:

  • For the period covering 1 October 2022 to 1 October 2023 there have been two (2) complaints regarding sexual misconduct the force has received from staff. Both complaints relate to sexual assault.

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, the details of which are as follows:

  • For the period covering 1 October 2022 to 1 October 2023 there have been zero (0) complaints regarding sexual misconduct the force has received from the public regarding police officers.

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, the details of which are as follows:

Please note:  The figure provided below relates to the date in which the police officer was dismissed i.e. it fell between 1 October 2022 to 1 October 2023 and therefore does not  relate to when the misconduct investigation commenced.

  • For the period covering 1 October 2022 to 1 October 2023 one (1) police officer was dismissed for sexual misconduct.
