Officer sexual misconduct complaints 103/2024

Request:

1. The number of complaints of sexual misconduct made against serving officers from 3rd March 2021 to 31st December 2023, broken down by calendar year.

2. Please also provide the gender of the officer the complaint was made against.

3. For each of the complaints can you please provide if they were either upheld, not upheld, withdrawn or abandoned or if the investigation is still ongoing - also broken down by calendar year.

Please note: The information outlined in the below table relates only to serving police officers and does not include information/data pertaining to police staff and/or police community support officers (PCSO’s).

It should be noted that owing to the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such matters the information provided may or may not be accurate. However, the systems used for recording these figures are not generic, nor are the procedures used locally in capturing the data.  It should be noted that for these reasons this Force’s response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other response you may receive.
