Cost of policing at Stradey Park Hotel 1185/2023

You recently responded to my FOI request (815/2023) confirming that all costs resulting from policing the Stradey Park Hotel during the change of use protest were being funded from police/public funds and not by the owners of the hotel.

Now that the protest is over please could you confirm the total cost of this operation.

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below:

• Total cost of the Stradey Park Hotel Protests stands at £1,165,192.88,

It should be noted that owing to the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such matters the information provided may or may not be accurate.
