Request:

1) How many zombie-style knives and machetes were surrendered to your force between August 26 and September 23 2024? If possible, can you provide a breakdown for the types of weapon.

2) What was the total value of compensation claims made for zombie-style knives and machetes surrendered between the above dates? 

Response:

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does not hold the information requested, this is due to the fact that the information is only being collated by Dyfed-Powys Police on behalf of the Home Office and is not being used for a policing purpose. This is determined by the process stipulated during the surrender period which confirms the information collected/retained by Police Forces is only being done so as directed by the Home Office and for their purpose only.
