Updating the Crown expenditure 852/2024

Request:

1) How much has Dyfed Powys Police spent so far on updating the crown in its badges, signage, printed material, and electronic media from St. Edward's Crown to the Tudor Crown as a result of the accession of King Charles in 2022?

2) How much has been budgeted to complete this update?

3) And when is it expected that the Tudor Crown will have fully replaced St.Edward's Crown?

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.

No costs as yet – The designing of the new crest has been outsourced to South Wales Police, but has yet to be finalised, so no invoices have been received.

£0 – no specific budget has been set aside for these expenses

Response Q3

Work is progressing on designing and rolling out a new force crest, incorporating the Tudor crown, however there is no confirmed timescale for the existing crest to be fully replaced.

A low cost approach will be taken to replacing the existing crest, beginning with digital versions. Physical materials will only be replaced when necessary.
