Request:
I am writing to ask about the staffing of the teams that process the online reporting of driving offences by members of the public. These teams are often referred to as Operation Snap teams, but some police use other terms, eg Extra Eyes in Essex and Public Reporting in the Met. We believe all police (or all but one) have such a team.
Please provide the following information:
- Number of authorised FTE positions for such team as of end of March 2025.
- Number of vacancies in the team as of end of March 2025.
- Number of reports submitted online of driving offences in calendar year 2024.
- The name of the team

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does not hold the information requested, due to the fact that Dyfed Powys Police do not hold this data, as Operation Snap is run out of South Wales Police.
