RTCs Carmarthen to Pont Abraham 849/2025

Request:

I would like to know how many RTCs have been reported/taken place on the A48 - between Carmarthen and Pont Abraham (including Cross Hands roundabout) - in a 12-month period, between the start of August 2024 and the end of July 2025.

I don't need specifications or breakdowns on type of RTC/injuries etc

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, the details of which are as follows:

For the period covering August 2024 to the end of July 2025 there were a total of 186 RTCs reported on the A48 between Carmarthen and Pont Abraham (including Cross Hands roundabout).

Pont Abs R/A = 31

Crosshands R/A = 18

Pensarn R/A = 19

A48 Pont Abs-Crosshands = 40

A48 Crosshands-Foelgastell = 23

A48 Foelgastell-Llanddarog = 21

A48 Llanddarog-Carmarthen = 34                       

It should be noted that owing to the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such matters the information provided may or may not be accurate.
