Please could you provide a list of the annual number of in-school knife-related incidents that police from your force have attended, for the last three years (2022, 2023, 2024), as well as a year-so-far number for 2025?

1. Please could you also provide data on the number of knife-related offences in schools police were called out to (if this differs from the number reported) in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 so far?
2. And please could you also find the number of knife-related offences at schools in 2025 so far?

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.

Please note:

These volumes have been retrieved by conducting a key word search on incidents with ‘school’ in the address field and containing the words ‘knife’ and other similar terms as there is no knife related incident filter.  As a result, we cannot guarantee that this method has picked up all knife-related incidents within schools.

It should be noted that as a result of the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such information that the information released may or may not be accurate.
