1. Please list the diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) posts currently fulfilled by your police officers, together with the annual salary of each.
2. Please list the total annual cost of external training provision to your officers for DEI as listed in the latest accounts and/or budget.

If you would be kind enough to provide the number of police officers and the number of civilians, that would be great.

If that is not possible, then the primary interest is with the number of police officers.

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below:-

Staff working within the Equality Diversity and Welsh Language department:

Equality Diversity and Welsh Language Manager - £47,712 to £51,294

Equality Diversity and Welsh Language Officer - £31,296 to £34,329

Equality Diversity and Welsh Language Support - £24,675 to £26,106

Positive Action Officer - £31,296 to £34,329

Equality Diversity and Engagement Coordinator (temporary until March 2026; Vacant) - £31,296 to £34,329

Please note:

Some of these staff work on Welsh language compliance as part of their roles, and not fully working on equality and diversity matters.

Officers working within the Equality Diversity and Welsh Language department:

No officers work within the department

Please note that there are officers who have roles that may be of interest, for example, officers who may have received additional training and can be deployed as hate crime or LGBT liaison officers. These aspects are not their sole roles, but they can be deployed to undertake roles that support some work that may be of interest to the applicant. We would need clarity on the definition of ‘equality and diversity’ to answer fully.
