1          Will your police force/constabulary be ring-fencing the extra income from the latest firearms licensing fee increase to the firearms licensing functions?

2          What improvements will you be making to streamline the system and reduce delays in grant and renewal?

3          Will you be looking to recruit additional staff and if so how many and in what function?

Response 1:

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.

Dyfed-Powys Police will not be ring-fencing the extra income from firearms licensing.

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.

Continual improvement mapping is being undertaken to review processes including the introduction of RPA to enhance the delivery of our service.

Response 3:

I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police due to the fact that this information is not recorded by Dyfed-Powys Police.                                              

It should be noted that as a result of the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such information that the information released may or may not be accurate.
