Request:

I am writing to kindly request the following information under FOI Act 2000, re: your force's digital forensics work.

As of today's date, I am seeking:

1. The number of electronic devices (inc. USBs & SD cards) currently awaiting examination.
2. The number of electronic devices (inc. USBs & SD cards) that have been awaiting examination for 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months etc. up to 24 months and then finally 24+ months.

With regards the above, please could you please could you answer separately for devices:

a) examined and analysed internally by DPP's own in-house digital forensics services and

b) outsourced to be examined and analysed by an external digital forensic analysis provider/ laboratory.
