Parking tickets issued to police officers 552/2025

Request:

I would like to request the following information regarding parking tickets issued to serving police officers for each year from 2022 to the present (or the most recent year available):

1. The total number of parking tickets issued to police officers in your force area.
2. The number of these tickets that were paid.
3. The number of tickets that were cancelled or overturned.
4. The reasons provided for cancellation or overturning of these tickets (e.g., operational necessity, administrative error, appeal upheld, etc.).

Clarification:

Clarification was received and the applicant was referring to on duty police officers

Response 1 – 4:

I can confirm that there is no information held/recorded by Dyfed-Powys Police as Police officers do not issue parking tickets. Parking tickets would be issued by the local authority.  Police officers only issue Traffic Offence Reports for unnecessary obstruction.
