Request:

I am writing to request traffic and safety data under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the junction of the A485 and B4337 in Llanybydder, Carmarthenshire.

Specifically, I would like to request the following:

1. The results of any traffic speed surveys undertaken at or near this junction from 2020 to 2025.
2. The number and severity of road traffic collisions, including any involving pedestrians or cyclists, recorded at or within 100m of this junction during the same period.
3. Any available enforcement or safety assessments, including Community Speed Watch, relating to the same area.
4. Also, how do incidents get reported to this site as there has been at least 2 collisions on the main road by the Cross Hands as they have had to rebuild their wall because of them?

Response 1:

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.

No speed surveys taken at the junction by Go Safe

25/08/2021 - One slight injury collision occurred at the junction

Response 3:

I can confirm that there is no information held due to the fact that there were zero (0) enforcement or safety assessments, including Community Speed Watch, relating to the same area in the timeframe specified.

Please note: Although outside the timeframe specified, I wish to advise you that a Community Speed Watch assessment was done on 24/07/19.
