Section 76 Serious Crime Act 2015 (SCA 2015) created the offence of controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship (CCB). It came into force on 29th December 2015 and may be classed under police code 008/67.

Courses for 2025
Initial training - Mandatory for all police officers.
Spring Divisional Training which included DA – Mandatory for all Response Constables and Sergeants.
The frequency of DA training depends on the force training demands.

All police officers undertake initial training.
489 officers partook in the Spring Divisional Training.

15 response officers were unable to attend Spring Divisional Training. These officers are either on long term sickness, or maternity leave.
