Please provide the following information for the periods 2023, 2024, and 2025 (or the most recent data held within this period):

• The total number of reported residential burglary offences in your area for each calendar year.
• The average response time to reported residential burglaries for each calendar year.
• The total number of arrests made in each calendar year for residential burglaries.

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.

2023 – Residential Burglary Total – 691

Average Response Time – 40.2 minutes

Total Arrests Made – 123

2024 – Residential Burglary Total – 785

Average Response Time – 43.7 minutes

Total Arrests Made – 116

2025 – Residential Burglary Total – 797

Average Response Time – 33.6 minutes

Total Arrests Made – 83                                               

It should also be noted that Police forces in the United Kingdom are routinely required to provide crime statistics to government bodies and the recording criteria is set nationally. However, the systems used for recording these figures are not generic, nor are the procedures used locally in capturing the crime data. It should be noted that for these reasons this force's response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other response you may receive.
