Request:

1. How many times in the past 10 years (1 January 2015 to 31 December 2025) has the force chartered a private jet to bring a suspect back to the UK from a foreign country?
2. What was the cost of arranging each of those flights?
3. What were the allegations against the suspect returned to the UK in this way?
4. In each case, what was the result of the operation to bring the suspect back, e.g. conviction, acquittal, no further action taken?
5. What was the justification for chartering a private flight to bring the suspect back rather than using conventional means eg a scheduled flight?

Response:

I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police due to the fact that zero (0) private jets have been chartered by Dyfed-Powys Police to bring a subject back to the UK from a foreign county in the timeframe specified.

It should be noted that as a result of the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such information that the information released may or may not be accurate.
