Request:

1. I would like to know what DPP force staff and officers were present at the 2026 Pembrokeshire County Show.
2. I would also like to know what capacity they were there in, including if any PCs present were on duty and ready to respond to any crowd issues at the event.
3. Finally I would like to know if the event payed for these officers and staff to be present, or if this the cost of this was covered by the force. If the event organisers were paying for the police to be onsite I would also like to know what the cost of this was.

Response 1:

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.

Dyfed-Powys Police staff and officers were present from

• NPPT (1 Sgt, 2 PC and 2 PCSO each morning and afternoon)
• Schools Police Officers (3 PC day one and 2 day 2)
• Economic Crime Team (2 day 1 and 1 day 2)
• Rural Crime team (1 PCSO)
• Scientific Support (2 staff each day)
• Recruitment staff
• Roads Policing officers were also present to monitor and respond to any traffic related matters (2 motorcyclists)
• Police Volunteer cadets were also in attendance with cadet leaders
• Supt and Insp also attended for part of day 1
• 1 Police staff coordinator for the police stand

Officers and staff were deployed in the capacity of engagement with members of the public, all police officers were on duty and would have been able to respond to any incident at the event (or outside the event if required)
