Request:
- For each of the calendar years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, please provide the number of officers who were presented with a Medal for Long Service and Good Conduct at 20 years’ service.
- For each of the calendar years 2023, 2024 and 2025, please provide the number of officers recognised for serving (i) 30 years and (ii) 40 years.
Response 1:
I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below. Please note these are officers who received their LSGC medal within the below years at the ceremonies held, or if they were unable to attend, shortly after. For context, we are unable to order medals from the Home Office until after the date of the officers’ anniversary, therefore officers usually receive their medals the following year.

Clarification:
I seek the number of Police Officers only, no staff or Specials, in each of the specified years, who qualified by service for the medal or clasp, not just those who attended ceremonies.
