Response 1:

I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police as artificial intelligence is not used in criminal investigations.

Not applicable which is based on the response provide in relation to question 1 of your request.

Response 4:

To date, Dyfed-Powys Police has not utilised AI or machine learning in relation to crime analysis due to the technology being as yet untested in this area and ethical concerns. The algorithms developed to utilise the power of the machines deal with probabilities and predictions and not certainties. This leads to concerns that any system supported by machine learning / AI could produce unreliable results.

It should be noted that owing to the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such matters the information provided may or may not be accurate.
