I wish to find out how many times armed officers have been dispatched to respond to reports of dangerous dogs over the last five years.

1. Please provide a number for each of the years below.

2. If possible, please state a brief summary of the incident and what happened to the dog. 
3. If possible, please state what breed of dog/s was involved. 
4. If possible, please state the amount of money spent sending armed response teams to the incidents involving dangerous dogs.

I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police due to the many variables that each deployment would involve (for example, how many officers/vehicles were deployed, type of vehicles with fuel costs, mileage, hours spent on deployments etc). Therefore, costs for specific deployments are not kept and are considered to be part of normal duties.

It should be noted that as a result of the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such information that the information released may or may not be accurate.
